What are you like with a spray gun?(no room for error)Spent 8years as a sprayer myself(not car/bike bodywork)& found Devilbiss to be the best guns i used,Wagner would do the job good as well.

I tried with my last track bike and its not easy to get a decent finish fortunately I was at my mates garage and after a little while the **** poor job I was doing infuriated him and he snatched the gun off me and did it himself.
and thats what I was hoping would happen ![]() |

Indeed it is,what i will say is make sure your doing it in a dry atmosphere otherwise you will get BLOOMING(you may already be aware of this??)if not, this is when the damp reacts with the solids of the laquour,ie cellulose & causes a cloudy effect to the finish(in which case job foooked)the only way to combat spraying in a damp atmosphere is to use water-based products then its not a prob...HTH.

tried it once and once only. I so dont have the knack for it myself. Its looks so easy too.
its like when you watch a pro window cleaner at work and think "man, i could so do that" and then have a go and thinks "jeez, this aint as easy as it looks" ![]() But at least with windows you dont get paint everywhere and have to strip it all off again. And if you do then you really are doing something wrong!
