Default Almost got SMIDSY'd

First day out on the bike in weeks yesterday (clock still set to summer time) and went to Sainsway's. Leaving the parking lot, following a line of cars, and this woman in a Renault McCann van thing just ignores her give way line and drives not so much in front of me as into the side of me! Realized she wasn't stopping and so swerved to the curb and avoided being crushed. She just carried on without a care in the world so I slowed down and pulled in behind her.

Could not believe it, was so shocked that I didn't even think to kick her door or blast my horn or anything. From the look of her I doubt she spoke English anyway so no point calling her a blind f'in mumless bizzznatch.

Decided it was probably best if I just went home, that this was a SIGN, man.

(and if I had been in my car, I'd have had a smashed front end)

This is typical of a lot of motorists, people just using their vehicle as a weapon. Haven't you noticed that instead of slowing down at a parked car and giving way, like it says in the HC, they speed up and go for it.

I was doing 30mph on the seafront yesterday, and was overtaken by some female in her Renault. My wife said WTF (in her head, as the kids were in the car). This road goes no where

Seems to me that some drivers are so wrapped up in their busy lives that nothing else matters. So 'Get the f*%k outa my way or I'm gonna kill ya'

Worse still they're Crimbo shopping

Yeah- and that's the time that the old duffers and oddballs are out too, having barely driven anywhere for the rest of the year.

Yeah, is well dangerous anywhere near shops atm, I went to Castle Court (local shopping centre in Caerphilly) and it was absolutely packed, people parked wherever they could fit their car whether there was a spot or not. After driving fruitlessly around for ten minutes I concluded there were no spaces (and one beeeyatch stole one from me) and gave up.
