Default Bike/Car Insurance.

Does anyone know if there are any insurers out there who will insure a bike and a car on the same policy?

Cheers,

Toby

I consider the risk of multiple vehicle single policy to outweigh the possibly slight gain in initial premium against the cost if you have an accident.Considering we are talking bike and car this could possibly be higher on the risk of a bike related incident than a car but it results in a double whammy on your premiums come renewal.

Would you not get the same effect anyway as you have to declare any claims or losses?

When you apply for any car or bike policy you have to state any accidents (regardless of blame and claims) and claims.

Surely that means it's six and two threes claim/risk wise. Was the premium discount I was interested in, but aye, as dave said, you hgave to be 25. Gay

I'm assuming the deal is they don't really have any discount for owning a bike & car they just happen to have good deals from the underwriters for over 25s.
You have any bike claims toby?

Bike sure,,mce (careful with them),devitt, motorbike direct are all pretty cheap for me for bikes.
I find admiral and aviva cheapest for me for car but I have bike claims.
