Hi, just after some orgers opinions really...
I ordered a set of bearings to replace the ones in my pointy front wheel, from an online motorcycle patent parts supplier. They arrived today, 6203 2RS's, but they are C3 rated! (More internal clearance) Is it worth putting them in or am I going to be wasting my time? They feel as though they have more play in them than the ones I took out! Any opinions would be appreciated! ![]() Thanks Lawson |

Bearings are, as I'm sure you know, rated by clearance between C1 and C5. 'Ordinary' bearings, (if there is such a thing), would be CN, which is midway between C2 and C3.
C3 is fine - you wouldn't want to run a close tolerance bearing at high speed.
