Hi folks
i am in the middle of taking off all the bodywork for a nice spring clean but one of the bolts that hold on the front mudguard has rounded off....it is in a bit of a recess so can't hacksaw through the top to put a slot in it. i've tried to superglue and old bit onto the bolt but that failed first time round, tried again and waiting for it to set properly. if this fails again what other methods could i use? |

hammering a socket over the bolt head may work
make sure the socket is bigger than head and it just takes the corners off iykwim Last edited by davepreston; 31-01-10 at 12:52 PM. |

It's an allen bolt right? Either go and buy an oversize allen key or, if you can, hammer an allen key in that's 1mm bigger.
