Default clutch cover seal (oil leak)

hi all been a member 4 a while now but never posted anything. i have a oil leak coming from my clutch cover it seems i need a new seal its a big o ring does anyone know if and where these r availible. thanks

Seal is probably fine, it is the cover itself that warps.

Yes & Suzuki.

It seems sometimes however the problem is the cover itself has warped and a new O-ring will do nothing, in which case you either need to swap the entire thing for a pointy cover or replace the cover.

Worth mentioning you should also be careful how you tighten it, should always tighten opposite bolts and a bit at a time. Working in a star kind of pattern like this.

Just use some gasket maker ontop and around the oring.

And not over torque them and snap a bolt off like i did. Just a bit tighter, just a bit more, snap - ****!

Overtightening can cause leak in first place

yep 10nm if memory serves for those bolts - it's one of those that you remember after doing it

might b a good idea for me 2 get a small torque wrench then. i have a big 1 that i use 4 the rear wheel but doesn't go low enough for the smaller stuff
