Default GSXR mirrors?

Hi wondered if anyone can help me. I bought my SV last year, with the GSXR mirrors already fitted.

The previous owner has said that they are K8 mirrors with K4 brackets. I believe that these should therefore be a straight swap with no modifications, but instead on my bike the mirror stems have been shaved down in order to fit.

The mirrors also will not fold away fully which is a pain when trying to get it through the back gate.

Does anyone have any pictures of this mod done without the need of shaving off material to make the stems fit into the bracket?

Any advice would be much appreciated

Default Re: GSXR mirrors?

You have got to file away a little bit or they don't fit. If you want to fold them in a lot you would need to file off a hell of a lot. Plus I don't know if it would work without having to loosen the bolts every time (which is awkward)

You might be better with standard sv mirrors
