Default Yeaahhh new job :-D

At bloody last.

After about 2 years of searching for a job back in kent, i've finally been offered one This means no more relaxing, no more surfing, no more dossing and cheeky sicky days off, no more subsidised canteen and untold hunnies to look at. My life of easyness and luxery is over.

However, 12 miles each way (not 27 as i am currently), only country riding, by the river, there is a tesco nearby for food, a main town 5 minutes away (Maidstone), a chance to become an employee and not just a number, the chance to learn new things.

Longer day, a LOT less money, no OT pay, but had to weigh up the positives to the negatives.

No travel to london anymore, half the mileage, half the servicing, half the tyre/bike wear, if its hammering it down with rain, no 1 hour ride in to soak through, only 10 minutes.

Scarey as though, i've only worked for law firms and banks, and this is totally different. Scarey as, but exciting at the same time.

Only other thing is i've got an interview for Formula 1 (the actual company, FOMG) later today and i really really want that job as i'd get sent to every race meeting, so got to be carefull how i play this, scarey scarey....

Wooooo im so pleased, im sure some of you've read my moaning about my job before, so im so so happy

Its scarey as its such a change in company type and the lower wage is scarey (being able to get buy), new people to get bonds with etc..

New desk is smaller too But still

Still got to kit up now and head to GF work, to get the car, to drive to F1 HQ. Just as scarey..... arrrgghhh

I could do with one of these.....problem is I'm cosey and sit thinking (whilst boreD) that maybe the grass isnt always greener.

So annoying when friends get better company cars than me I sit thinking should i go elsewhere (i know i could) or should i just ride it out and work my way upto the top in this place where the rewards are very nice

Dilemas

But congratulations, its posts like this that kick other people in the butt to get them considering makes changes.
