Default squeaky boots

I love my smx-4 a-stars but they creak when I walk in them. One is owrse than the other. It seems to be where the plastic bit is on top of the actual foot. Anyone else get this? Is there a cure?
Should I clean them?

Easy wd40, spray in all joints, wipe away excess..... No more squeeks.

Yup, wd40, all over them and wipe any excess off. Don't get it on the sole or toe area though!!

Did it to my a* and lilys sidis. Works a treat.

I definitely recommend the silicone. If you have an Arai helmet, you get a bottle of it in the box to use on the rubber seal around the visor (other makes may include a bottle too).

I have been known the lie on the floor of my shop whilst someone in squeaky boots walks back and forth past me - so I can work out where the noise is coming from a put a couple of drops of silicone on it

Couldn't you just wear them in instead of spray wd40? Wouldn't the leather eventually supple up
