Default Another keyless start question

Hi all,
I have a curvy SV650 trackbike, it keyless, starts and runs but its powerered up all the time.

The wiring is: -

Yellow / Green - Orange / White = starter button
Orange / White - Orange / Green = Kill Switch

What I have done wrong?

Cheers

HHH

You have the Yellow/White & Orange/Red bridged

Do I need to pass them though the engine kill switch?

You could if you wanted instead of the kill switch wires themselfs, ie just cut all power, or you could have a master switch (ie the red turn to off) to control the main bike and still have seperate switch for kill, up to you.

I went for the master switch myself.

Main reason for that is that I've seen a kill switch mangled in a crash, it probably killed the engine when it did it but just in case it didn't the master gives another chance to kill the bike and all the electrics.

Plus in my case I wired it up so that you can just plug back in the original ign switch.

That's what I did on mine but it was so long ago I can't realy remeber. It took me hours I remember that.
The resistor is hard wired in and everything goes through the killswitch.
