Little bit short and expensive.
Get a longer one or make your own if your good with that stuff... As Then you can have it hanging out the rear pillion seat or what ever you need. OR If you want an easy life get this one. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MOTORBIKE-12v-CHARGING-SOCKET-KIT-PHONE-FULLY-FUSED_W0QQitemZ180423957939

I bought 2 of these, lead is short though but that suited my plans (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWNX:IT) Fitted one for me and my mate with a SV1000. Fitted with a bit of double sided tape and a cable tie to a metal bracket under the pillion seat. Yes it is in the wrong place but it wont get wet, and never sticks out.
My idea with this was just that I could use longer leads for my phone / sat nav. If the short lead bothers you just buy a 2pin auto plug and some twinflex wire ( heavy enough gauge though) so that when you need it just plug it in. I have since ditched the idea of running my sat nav when I installed Tom Tom for my iphone. With ear phones in, music playing and the phone in my inside leather jacket pocket the Tom Tom cuts the music, gives me directions and then the music starts back up. |

Yeah, I got rid of the crap apple ones and got some Sony in ear jobbies. They also keep the wind out, my shoei XR1000 is not the quietest lid about. Here is a couple of pics of where I set it up.

I've just fitted one of the fused Accumate connections that fits permanently onto the battery terminals. It's long enough to pass under the seat plastics and into the space under the pillion seat. It means I can plug either my battery charger or the Accumate charging socket in without having to lift the riders seat.
