Hello orgers,
Okay, like a total numpty, thinking the sidestand was down, the bike leaned over, beyond the point of no return and toppled onto LHS. Picked it up and then shut it off, know i should have switch it off first, but anyway. Started her up again no problem and seemed to ride okay, it then sat out in the ****ing rain for a a few hours. Till I rode it home. took a couple of attempts to start but then rode home no problem. No missfiring. So, to cut a long story short. Electrics seem ok as starter motor will turn and the engine would start and fail or just not quite catch. Then let out one almighty Bang and I gave up So the question is: Could i have done caused serious damage from the drop? i.e oil in the cylinders, contaminated the plugs? ( even though it fired up again immediately after) OR is is just going to be wet plug from all the rain. (I previously put a gaurd from the radiator, to cover the front cylinder, but considering the amount of heavy rain its quite possble just wet plugs?) Can't check plugs today cos leant tools to a mate, so im stuck here wondering wtf! Any advice, comments ( I know im a tool for dropping it, thanks!) |
