Hullo my cherubs!
Just in after a lovely bimble on the bike that was slightly spoiled by a cage trying to kill me! Due to the slip road for M8 being shut Erskine was really busy with traffic. There was a long que of cars approaching a roundabout and nothing coming the other way so off I went to near the front of the line [as you do]. This guy behind me in a wee black car went completely nuts [traffic still at a standstill at this point] and drove forward trying to push me off my bike! I lifted my flipfront to ask what his problem was and he was ranting and raving about "you f*** bikers". I'm afraid I wasn't a lady and said that I was allowed to filter and overtake a que of cars and that he was a "f*** a** h**". Anyway peeps. Hand on heart I didn't do anything wrong. Although I know I shouldn't have swore at the guy. Any tips for handling this should it ever [God forbid] happen again. Now going to pour myself a large glass of red [even though its a school night] Thanking you in advance Dawn xxx |

Relax, deep breaths
Firstly the world is populated by opinionated knobs. (i am just opinionated) accept it and get on with your life. I have a mate called red. People assume it is because he is a scouser. in fact he is a blue. Red is because of the mist. When it descends. things are not pretty as he drags his knuckles off the floor. You just know things are going to hurt. Bikes and cages are no different. You are going to get hurt. so avoid it. walking/riding away is far cleverer than being carried away. Do not descend to their level and keep the morel high ground

Sorry to hear about your experience hon, I'd have been shaking like a leaf after that, you deserve your glass of red! Trying to ignore something like that is tough though, especially at the time. |

Smile back, wave at him
![]() ![]() He's just jealous that bikes don't have traffic jam issues, and he's stuck in his cage for ages going nowhere.. If he opens his car door onto you deliberately, then you've got the right to "accidently" kick off his wing mirror ![]() ![]() |

Give the plamff a wave goodbye and nip in front of the next car, or keep on keeping on right to the front of the queue.
You are then well away from that type of rocket. Smile, as the fecker will still be stewing ![]() |
