Default Genuine Seat Cowl Prices.

Round about Christmas I was going to buy a seat cowl for my K8 - at the time they were listed at £59. For various reasons I didn't get one, but have now decided to have another look.

Yesterday, I went onto the accessories section of the Suzuki web-site and the price had jumped to £91. Whichever way you look at it, that's fairly hefty jump in price.

I've just been back on that site and the price is now listed as POA (it seems many of the items are). Has anyone bought one recently, know how much they should be or know what's going on with the pricing policy at Suzuki ?

I think the problem with pricing is a much bigger problem than most realise.

It's all to do with exchange rates, transport costs and import taxes.

The pound is at an all time low, infact it's worthless really.

Fuel prices and transport costs keep going up with oil.

Import taxes are beyond a joke.

Things arnt going to get any easier... Or cheaper.

Suzuki had a price hike late last year iirc. I got a couple of emails for my old RGV250 that the dealer had secured a large shipment of pistons so they would not raise prices until stock had run out.

Plus everything went up a little bit because of the 15% back to 17.5% VAT Rate.

This is the cheapest I found. I'm guessing your bike is black btw, I don't have a clue, lol.
