Default Sidestand switch fitting

I'm getting the SV ready to be sold so today I attempted to fit the new sidestand switch I have since the old one was FUBAR.

I've taken the bit out that attaches to the inside of the frame that actually touches the sidestand.

I've gone to fit the new one but I'm buggered if I can figure out where the wire goes.

Can anybody enlighten me?

EDIT - It's a naked K5

On a curvey the wires go up through the front sprocket area.

Can't comment on a pointy, but would guess it's similar.

The wires fold over and come out the front of the hole that the switch slides up

I spent a bit of time last night fiddlign with the sidestand switch to try and find whee it actually goes once I've looped it back out the front, to no avail?

Does anybody have a diagram or something similar?

Page 9.20 in Haynes?
Seems to be a connector near the top of rear cylinder head.
Then wends its way to the turn signal relay next to fuse box under rider's seat - may be easier to trace it from there?

I don't have a manual.

And considering the only reason I'm doing this is so I can get an MOT and sell it I'm not gunna buy one.

Spent ages last night looking for PDFs but to no avail
