Default Rear seat cowl attachment

Hi y'all.
Just bought a naked K3 which is fitted with a seat cowl and a luggage rack. Needless to say that the rack has to go. Its too aesthetically challenging. Only problem is, when the rack goes, so does the rear attachment point for the seat cowl as the grab rail isnt present.
Ive not seen how the seat or cowl attach normally as this is my first SV. Ive botched a fix for now, but want to get it sorted properly. Can anyone help with how I can get a good rear locking point for the seat cowl? Photos of standard seat retention bars or hints etc gratefully received.
Cheers,
pojic

As you may be aware the grab rail has a slot that accepts the tongue on the rear of the seat to hold it in place. Seat cowls have a light steel bracket, (sometimes incorporating bodywork coloured triangular infill pieces for when the grab rail is removed), that replicates the seat rear mounting.
It may be possible to obtain said bracket from a seat cowl manufacturer.

i know that ones in America but there is a place in England to get them from and p.s this is assuming your current cowl is a gen Suzuki one.

Sid, thanks for that. Im going to mull around here and fleebay and see if anything comes up. And to be honest, itll happen when it happens. Im having so much damned fun on the SV buzzing around South Wales Im not overly bothered about the finer detailing. Want to get it sorted for sure as its a damn fine looking machine, but being out riding is the flavour of the day for the foreseeable!
Cheers sz1. You can see in the picture of the cowl set, the bagged bar is what I need. As for the ebay bits, it took a few looks to see exactly what they were and if Im right, theyre the fillers for the gaps left by the grab rail at the rear of the seat cowl. If they were silver I would probably have taken them.
Thanks again guys.
