Default New discs giving me a head ache

I have just fitted some Kyoto wavy front discs to my curvy. They are from wemoto and were listed (as new) as a replacement for OE discs. However, having just spent a session in the garage fitting them and torquing everything back up I have found a problem. The front wheel will not rotate more than a few degrees. It appears that the bobins that hold the floating discs together catch on part of the brake caliper. There is a lug on the sliding half of the caliper (a part that the pad backing rests against) that knocks against the bobin and prevents it from rotating. When the calipers are off the wheel rotates as it should.
Has anyone had the same/similar problem? Does anyone know if I have done something wrong? Everything has gone back where it should so I can only assume it is a disc problem.
I am waiting for a response from wemoto but thought I ask here too.
Thanks in advance

Thats what's just dawned on me too. It is only just a few mm too. Lets see what wemoto have to say and hopefully they'll send out some new ones.

These things are sent to try us. Have a cup of tea and a break.

I managed to scratch a freshly painted panel the other day. Give me strength

Shouldn't make a difference Mr Stig. My yellow SV has EBC discs on the wrong way round, never had an issue in three years with them!

Wemoto are pretty good for sending out replacements. They sent out the wrong Hagon shock to me when I rebuilt the yelller, I had it under my bed unused for mearly a year, only to find after ripping the knackered one off it didn;t fit! They sent a courier the next day to give me the correct one and to cart off the wrong one.

They aren't handed discs so they can go either side (I spend a good few minutes checking just to be sure). They have just sent an ebay message saying their tech bloke will be intouch shortly so hopefully it should be sorted soon.
Cheers for the replies.

I had to call wemoto today as I hadn't heard from them. I was told by a very unhelpful guy that he couldn't see what or where something had gone wrong so would give a refund upon return. I wasn't happy after putting the phone down 'cos I had paid for a set to fit my bike and clearly had the wrong ones sent (or listed incorrectly) so felt entitled to receive what I had paid for. I sent an email and had a call at 9.30pm (!), which was fine by me, by their tech guy who appologised and promised to look into things for me tomorrow. He also asked if I needed anythng so I said I need an airfilter to complete my service. I'm holding out on a final verdict but this guy has restored some faith.
Fingers crossed.

Although it is extremely frustrating to order a part and then find the wrong one has been sent (happened to me over the weekend), it is understandable they are not going to send a replacement part until the original has been returned. How many times do you think they would be scammed if they were to take every customer for their word when they said the wrong part had arrived and then sent out another without waiting for the original to be returned?

I ordered a hand brake cable over the weekend for the Pug only to find they sent the wrong part. They have already authorised the return of the item but will not refund me my money until they have received the incorrectly delivered hand brake cable back. Annoyed as I am that I know I ordered the correct part (part selected on registration of vehicle) and received the wrong one, I understand there is no way they are going to part with another item until they have received the incorrect one back again. Just means if I can order something from elsewhere, I will do it rather than using them again.
