Hiya Paul

What price is the SV?? There are a few threads running at the moment along the same theme so would be easier for you to search the info rather than repeating it all.

Whereabouts in the great isle are you??

It would have to be awfully shiny for that kind of money.

like still unregistered.
sounds kinda steep.
You can buy privately you know - not everyone is out to rip you off and the bikes have been ridden by these private individuals anyway, not by the dealers.

What's wrong with this?http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=149620

I paid slightly over the odds for mine a year ago, £3000 (listed at £3500) from a Suzuki dealer.

It's a 2005 model on an 06 plate, fully faired blue with Yoshimura exhaust, touring screen, tail tidy w/ undertray, fender extender, seat cowl, pillion seat w/ grab rail, alphadot marking, and a few other bits including useless OEM crash bungs. All original bits which were replaced were included as well (standard exhaust etc).

Oh and it only had 2800 miles on the clock with a fresh 12 months MOT, a full main dealer service history. Same dealer who sold it from new serviced it and then sold it to me. Just the 1 owner before me.

So I think the price seems a bit optimistic but it's your money. I know I paid more than I could have if I'd have waited but it was excatly what I wanted so I took it.

p.s. the one you linked to is a 2004 model, nothing wrong with that - except the silver frame - but it does seem a rather optimistic price.

It's not a 2005 model. It's a 2004 model registered in 2005
