Exhaust for an SV? - SV650.org

Hey guys, just trying to find a Good slip on for the SV. And especially something that's not going to cost me 500$+ AND require sawing.

I think all slip-ons require sawing, you can get a full system and that won't. If you're in the UK try the budget cans like Fuel or CCC?

Not sure you can escape the sawing if you're on a 1st gen bike. My vote is for Quill though, well made, bike is as quick as the Akro illegal can I had, although it's now a bit quieter. I've got their Evo 2 with carbon fibre end cap thingy. If you've got 1st gen you can probably get them to fit it if you wanna ride to Warrington. You can pinch loads of free stickers off them if you do!

Hmm.. Well i want to get a 08 SV. Will that STILL require sawing?
I put a can on my 09 ninja 250 and it.. "Sliped on" Thus the name.

to my knowledge all the exhausts were one piece and expensive to replace with a suzuki genuine part. One option is to get a scrap exhaust and butcher that one

With all SV's the exhaust is a single piece system as standard. However, cutting the pipe is not something to be scared of. Really easy to do and providing you measure and mark it up, its fine. Plus, easy to put the old one back on for reselling.
