Will a K4 shock fit a K7? - SV650.org

Hi,

I tried searching for the answer but couldn't find it, so thought I'd ask.

I've just noticed my rear shock is leaking oil so need to replace it. The bikes been stood idle since December and I've now ridden it for a few days this week and noticed it dripping on the floor in my garage, so I'm presuming there is damage to the seals.

My question is will a rear shock from a K4 fit a K7 SV650 naked? I've seen a few on ebay and there is a guy about 15 miles from me with one for £40 (no history though, but rekons it's in good condition and thinks it came from a 2004 s)

yes but why would you want to put another one of those on your bike? get your self a gsxr or a zxr shock loads better
