Default Restoration of scuffed plastics - how?

Hi,

The plastic bodywork is looking pretty tired on my curvy SV. Does anyone have any tips on restoring plastic with scuffed and dull patches? (The bike is black, if that is relevant.)

Thanks,

S

A few pics would help as it depends to what degree they are "scuffed".

Cheers Mark.

Ok, I'll try and make some pics later. Mainly it's areas that have been chaffed over time so that they've become matt instead of shiny (not deep scoring).

If it's just dulling paint then the Autoglym resin polishes are very good or if not to worn Tcut would do the job, but if it's a high wear area, then getting the shine back is one thing, keeping it quite another, I'd consider some clear Paint saver.

Cheers Mark.
