Default Cancellation factors

What would the DSA cancel the module 2 test for?
eg - what weather?

I have my module 2 on Wednesday and if the weather is anything like it is today then its not looking great.
I dont mind wet riding, but do the DSA?

Depending on the test centre... well so im told i went to a brand new centre in wakefield and they can do tests in all weather bar heavy snow as the new tarmac supposedly provides the same level of grip wet or dry ?

Tom.

It's up to the examiner; if he thinks it's safe you will go out. If you can pass in the wet then you are doing alright

When I did mine in April, I was told that it would depend on visibility. They said, "if it's so bad that visibility is seriously impared, we will not go out".

We went out and it was just raining, but within two minutes it was hammering down and very windy. The examiner took us back to the test centre after less than 10 minutes on the road and so I was convinced I'd messed up (despite not remembering doing anything wrong) as I was told I would be out for 30-40 minutes.

He said he'd seen enough to not warrant keeping me out in such bad conditions and I passed!

He said he wouldn't have gone out in that at the start and it was very rainy AND windy.

You'll be fine. At this time of year we don't yet have leaves and such or frost. Like the others have said, if it's that bad that they suspect it might be putting you at risk, it won't happen.

Good luck,

Garry

DSA only cancel if weather conditions are bad with storms, ice, etc. I think its up to the examiner as i was booked for my test a few years back and i rode for an hour with my instructor before my test only to be cancelled by the examiner because he thought the roads in some of the side streets were too icy. Good luck with mod 2

My teast was cancelled because the examiner crashed on the way to the test centre.
Didn't fill me with confidence
