Good place for MOT and tyres near Wakefield/Castleford/Pontefract

Had the SV for almost 12 months now and it's nearly time for its first MOT. Anyone from the Castleford or Wakefield area know of any places that aren't too "strict" for testing for things like exhausts and plates?

Also, any decent tyre places?

I know there is Castle Motors in Cas but I'd imagine they're quite expensive for tyres?

Any suggestions welcome!

i know its a good way for you but i use (and am happy with which makes a massive change!!!) halifax motorcycle spares. decent bloke and decent prices. i.e. 50 quid for an oil and filter ride in ride out when i can only get the oil for 48 quid!

i live in tingley and i take my bikes for mot at grizleys in halifax, very fair,

for tyres either siddons (bike tyres leeds) or woosters on the A64 just out of leeds.

tbh though though some places are understanding of exhuasts as noise is now subjective on the test, its less so with plates, just put the normal plate back on for the test, it would be rubbing it in a bit trying it on like

Sounds like I might have to make a trip to Halifax then. I'll have a ask around some lads at work to see where they take theirs too. See if there's any other decent places a bit closer. Cheers guys.
