Default K5 Rear Shock Sugestions.

Had my Gsxr600 k1-k3 front end setup the other day by Kai's Suspension team in Atherton £50 for the service and money well spent imo.
(cheers Starks for the recommendation )

Before the set-up the forks was so stiff and i could feel everything in the road. away he took the bike away for 20 minutes or and then shouted me into the back to talk about the standard SV shock he said mine is goosed as there is no compression at all,
he said theres no point in rebuliding it as we all know its non-adjustable and a pile of cow dung.

Anyway he's going to send me some prices over but he also said if I can pick up a alternative second hand one they can check it out fit it and set it up for my weight correctly.

So what do you recommend I don't race the bike its just for commuting and weekend fun, I know you pay for what you get but I have put too much money into getting the bike back on the road I am on my arrsssee lol.

So the cheaper the better.

So what do you have fitted ?

cheers Ant.

yeah after you fitted the front end last time it felt good but I had the forks replaced as one of them kept leaking even after seal replacements,
so I just got another set of forks and had them fitted.
but since then the bike hasn't felt right, so I just took it to them to get it sorted.
and to be honest I couldn't do it myself and it was driving me mad.
but it does feel really smooth now. (well at the front back is awful)

he didn't bother doing it with me on the bike as he said there is no point with the rear how it is, so if I get the back sorted he said just pop in and he will set me up properly.
