if that's the one he wants i'm sure it'l be fine however you have to make sure it fits him properly, unless he has already tried one on and knows what sise to order, otherwise you have a problem.

i think you will have to take him down the shop on his birthday. i was looking at agv lids and when i tryed them on they just wouldn't fit the shape of my head. better getting him there to try it.

Any decent bike shop won't sell you a lid without first making sure it fits the user properly. The decent bike shops won't allow you to return a lid if you think it's the wrong one after you've left the premises - think about it, would you want to buy a lid that may well have been dropped before you bought it?
In short - take the person the lid is for with you to try it on and decide if it's what they want before you buy the thing |

Viper was my first helmet. It was not very good TBH, noisey and felt cheap...went on my head though and sure would protect it okay but something just didn't feel right with it.
Also the bluetooth part of it never worked, but to be fair I complained and they told me to return it and they would replace it no questions...I was riding my bike too much so never bothered.
