Fitted new tyres!!!
I finally fitted the pirelli bsb Corsa tyres i bought recently from Cadwell Park to my CB1000r which up until now was running on bt015 it came with.
WHAT A DIFFERENCE. The best mod by far is definately a new set of boots. The bike 'talked' to me a lot more through the bars and the lean angles where mind blowing. It also felt like it was soaking up the bumps more? maybe cos the tyres r sooo soft. Best £60 i've ever spent Can't wait to give them a proper blast.

Sticky tyre do transform a bike if the suspension is designed to cope with the extra grip. I love mine.

The oem tyres bikes come with don't seem to be as good as off the shelf items in this country either. I had dunflops Qualifiers on my Z750 and it was a nightmare to ride as tyres took ages to warm up. When i swopped to Metzlers it was a different animal.
