Default Florida villa's and car rental

Hey people just wondered if anyone had an answer to this.
Ive bin to florida before but we stayed in a hotel so this time we decided to try a villa in Kissimee (disney area homes).

its all booked through Thompson via jetsave with the car included and the gold car insurance however the travel agent cant seem to answer my questions(odd i know)

1) does anyone know do they need some sort of deposit on the villa when we arrive?

2) Do they also need some sort of deposit for the car rental?

i can answer the car rental one , no deposit but you do have to let them swipe your credit card and if you damage or dont pay they take it from the card, some company's do take the cash off the card and return it upon return of the vehicle but this is rare in my experiance
hth

I would never get car hire like that, the times i have been they wanted something like £28+ per day insurance (but you get the car for free, ha) or as DP said they swipe your card and technically you leave a big deposit.
I always get my own car, around £150 per week all in, this includes CDW (crash damage waiver) so your not left with a big bill if you get into a collision, which in florida, is bloody possible.

Its works out cheaper with less risk this way, fly drives are not what they seem,Oh they WILL try and sell you an upgrade, tell them to do one.
My bro-in-law has a villa and so does a good mate of mine so im not really short of places to stay, hence why i have always sorted my own stuff out.
When we went last feb, my bro in law charged us £300 a week inc free pool heat which can be £120 per week on its own.
Car was £140 per week, flights £300 each, worked out brilliant.

unfortunately I can't answer any of the questions, but just noticed this thread and I went to Florida in 2000 and we stayed in Kissimee in a villa, with a nice swimming pool out the back, awesome times!!

And being so close to Disney is awesome, though I recommend when you go to get a week long pass to all of the Universal Theme Parks, you won't regret it, they rule

ive got the car included with the deal. and ive paid the extra for the gold insurance which includes the CDW. I wont be paying anymore money for the car i just wanted to know if i would have to pay a certain amount for damages which i assume would be return on my departure. Providing there is no damage that is.

You shouldnt be paying anything even if you do have some damage, thats what CDW is all about.
Thats basically insurance without excess.

I know someone who that happened to, had to leave $1200 deposit, thought they had paid for everything, didnt have credit card either, only debit and not enough money in account, that was just for car hire
That was a fly drive, i wouldnt touch one personally.
