Been at work since 7 this morning, traffic was fecked on the way in, stock which was needed urgently and ordered on a pre-9am delivery (for a job which should take about 2 hours) is not cut to requirement so I've tried cutting it to fit the printer but that has just caused a paper jam and may have damaged one of the printheads (which was only replaced last week after 3 days of colour printing issues) - I'm now having to farm the print work out and do everything else by hand... the events team in liverpool are getting hacked off since the signs were 'going to be there before 12 noon' but now it's gonna be nearer 3-4pm, and they're even more hacked off as one of their drivers didn't shut the van doors properly & a laptop has fallen off the back of the van... Oh and I've had to cancel a meeting with a potential customer at 3pm because I'm taking care of these signs which should be on the way to the ACC. It's only 10:30 and my blood is boiling... 3 hours ahead of schedule!

The supplier hasn't let me down like this before but the account manager doesn't seem to be acknowledging just how much of a disaster they have created for me.

cheers for the hugs guys, gonna go have a coffee and 5 mins to shift this mood so I can start being productive again.

Was meant to be at work for 9am but I'm sat a home in pain and discomfort - luckily I have a very understanding boss who was fully aware I was quite ill when he took me on. If I'm feeling up to riding I'll go into work later just to finish off some invoicing and stuff.

I don't like being ill on Monday because Tuesday is my natural day off and it looks like I'm taking the mickey and dragging out a double rest period, which is why I'll go in later.

cheers lozzo, 4 day weekend eh? hope you feel a bit better soon & good job your boss is understanding.

It's just annoying how something as simple as getting the roll of media cut to the right size so it will fit through the printer, can cause 5 individual major problems...

The supplier seems a bit more switched on now that I've said I'll have to find someone more reliable. Ah well, it's not the end of the world. Yet.

Yeah, the fuel cell rig is showing errors, the operator don't know why, too many errors in too short a time and brain overload. The controller did the right job and shut it down, so the error condition doesn't exist any more.

Off to look at the software to see what I can do to help him with additional logging functionality.

But I am not allowed to operate the rig remotely and I am only 150 miles away
