These are fairly rare (and a bit of an acquired taste) but the 2.5l V8 sounds superb

I'm glad I scrolled through the replies before making a similar comment. Big difference between this and Mr Turner's earlier efforts, these engines don't mark their territory anywhere near as much.

In a previous life I retrimmed the interiors of a couple of these, one of which was originally a Metropolitan Police pursuit car.

Now most of the plod cars have been converted back to plod spec for shows - weird.

Just watch the steering box on bumpy roads.
Tooling along at the top of Box Hill ( in a previous life ) my pal wiped the bottom of his steering box off on a bump. His balls fell out & turning the wheel had no effect at all!
Luckily his car jumped the grass lump between road & footpath & ' tramlined ' to a halt.
Brown trouser moment indeed.
