Default Dunlop sportmax

The tread on my front tire isworn more on the outside of the tread than in the middle whereas the rear's are the opposite. The rear is almost square. Regarding the front is this normal?

Dunlops... get rid and fit something worth having on. There are plenty of suggestions on here if you look for them.

Yes in my experience front tyres always wear on the edges more than the middle. Rear tyres depend how you use them.*

*Coming back from a 3000 mile trip through the mountains my rear was more worn on the edges than the centre for the first time ever

Maybe that goes for the Sportmax D220's but not the whole Dunlop range, surely?

Nothing wrong with Dunlops, I think I may have to refer Lozzo to a statement made previously elsewhere.....

Being serious (no really) I use Dunlop D209 Qualifiers on my SV to fairy good effect so as Stu says it depends on which specific tyre you have, not necessarily the brand. Don't worry about that wear, it's perfectly normal. Before you replace them, and it sounds like they need it, have a search around this Forum under tyres. There are loads of reviews and it's important you get a set that suit what you want to do, and your budget.

Get some Dunlop Road Smarts, they get amazing write ups and everyone ive spoken to about them loves them. Im putting some on my SV the end of the month. They give great milage and give you the confidence to through the bike around a bit.
