Default Pointy tachometer wire colour?

Trying to get my bike back together asap: does anyone know the colour of the tacho wire on a k3 sv650?
Can't find it anywhere in the manual or on the net. Probably just been thick, I had it down as grey/white but can't find the wire and can't find any confirmation on the net

can't quite make out the headings on the components, can you spot tacho or combination meter anywhere?

No I'm not sure what you mean. Send me your email and I'll send you full size versions of those pics

what do you mean by tacho? are you talking about the wires that run to the instrument cluster, the speed sensor etc? there's a bunch of them rather than one.

Tachometer/rev meter/rev pulse.

Think I got it.

Brown/black I believe for anyone's future reference.

Will confirm tomorrow .

ok, problem is that the wiring diagrams don't give you that level of detail. There are around 4 or 5 wires that run from the instrument cluster to the ECU where the tacho signal is likely to be fed from.

correction - its going to be either Brown/Black or Black/Green.

Nope, doesn't seem to be brown/black or black/green is there a way I can test? If I put a multi meter between a suspect cable and ground and rev should the volts change?
