Am i correct in saying you can cross the solid dividing lines at will if motorcycles are permitted in the lane?
Are there any restrictions? I ride the bus lanes in birmingham; common sense says yes you can cross the dividing line at will, i just wanna check if there are any restrictions to this rule for certain maneuvers. Thanks |

As far as I'm aware you can: the solid white line in this case is to signal to car drivers that they aren't allowed: otherwise buses also wouldn't be allowed to cross them.

Even cars must be allowed to cross it or half the time they wouldn't be able to turn left or right.
