Curvy speedo problem.
Whilst checking my battery charging voltage my meter probe shorted and now the speedo swings with the revs when the headlight is on. does anybody have any idea what has fried and is it an easy fix, the bike is 99 naked curvy. Thanks.

after riding for a short while the speedo settles down but then the speedo backlight glows and fades, has anybody else had a similar problem?
