Default BT-021's?

Getting a set of these on Saturday, has anyone had a set before?

Sports Touring tyre that I'm gonna be doing some track time on (First TD).

I'll post up my thoughts when they're scrubbed.

023's are better if you can stretch, 021's are ok, Storms are good, good deals to be had on Michelins at the mo.

I've done about 3000 miles on BT021's now. As much grip as I need in the dry (can't comment on wet!) and very little wear so far. I think they're a lot better than the usual forum 'experts' would have you believe. Having said that, planning on trying Avon Storm Ultras next. One thing I have found is they don't seem to like being over inflated, I run these within 0.5psi of 33/36 or else they feel 'off' and less stable.

Had BT-019s when i got the bike grippy as hell. Only lasted 1500 miles. found out they were track tyres but they were good wet or dry. Now got BT-023s. Considering the grip level of the 019s these are not far off. Good feed back from these, Heard that 021s dont give the same response.

First ride from Sleaford to Boston today.

Very remote feeling and slow to turn how ever I can only assume this is perfectly normal for the first journey on new tyres.

Will be scrubbing them in properly tomorrow with a journey to Cadwell.

Scrubbed, more grip than I can shake at the moment. Heat up nicely. Haven't ridden in the wet yet.

Had a few laps round Cadwell earlier this week. More than enough of a tyre for me at the moment. Even managed to ball the tyres up a little.

Very happy with these tyres. Haven't a bad thing to say about them. Fresh of my first full trackday and I had no issues, never lost grip but probably wasn't pushing hard enough to do so. Did manage to get them ball up a little.

Really like these tyres.
