Default Repairing road rash fairings

I did ask this question in my other thread but I think it got a bit lost in there!

Something I dont mind taking my time doing, if possible.

Heres the damage:

Is this repairable to a decent standard? I do have doubt as to whether or not I can blend in properly (probably not).

Or how much would I expect to pay for this to be repaired professionally?

Just trying to work out if I'm better off keeping an eye out for some 2nd hand fairings in the right colour.

Thanks

professionally about 120 for the bikini lowers be about the same. I would take the full bike 2 the sprayer to get the best colour match

Why don't you repair the damage then get some aerosols made up to the colour match and spray it in for now.You may be surprised how good a match you can get
and once it has aged you may not need the services of a professional spray job

Candy colours generally come in 3 parts: silver base coat, transparent blue coat, clear laquer.

The tricky bit is getting the blue layer the right thickness so the colours match. I've tried a couple of times and I'm still not happy with it. I'd suggest a couple of tries on some scrap before going anywhere near the bike.

Just my thoughts,

Keith.
