Default Sealing exhaust joints

I have a couple of small air leaks on some of the joints... A problem with spring held exhausts from what I read.

Im wondering if anyone has had any good results and what they used to seal them?

In the past I have used the products sold specifically to seal exhausts but I often find it goes brittle breaks up and just gets fired out... Obviously NOT good.

I also hear high temp silicone sealer (1200*C stuff is available) is a good option, anyone with any exp?

Cheers all

I have always used cheap as chips B&Q clear silicone sealant (other brands are available).

Works a treat, why pay more

+1 agreed!

Or Loctite do a high temp liquid gasket stuff but it needs to set for 24 hours at least, but I would still use silicone sealent!

Cheap silicon sealant. Or just let it leak, couple of pops and farts on the overrun never hurt anyone!
