Default She's Fixed!!!

As many of you have seen from rideouts I've been on my bikes been a wee bit broken on the front fairing. On the way to work almost a year and a half ago I had a fight with some ice and lost. I've been wanting to replace the fairing since I had the crash, but at £280 that money has had to be spent on more important things. But I finally got the money together and took the plunge, he's a little picture diary.

The new front fairing sitting in the living room waiting to be fitted.

Screen and mirrors off.

A very naked looking bike.

It's head separated from it's body.

Slowly gutting the old fairing.

A very strange view when sitting on the bike.

Old and new fairing.

Lights, indies and fairing all back on the bike.

The side already looking alot better.

The inner clock surround all put in place.

The finished article (well almost).

I'm sooo happy she is slowly getting back to standard form. Better start saving the pennies again for the new lot of work that needs doing.

Very strange view? Much better view you mean, without all that crappy plastic, can't you take a hint when your bike's trying to tell you it wants to be nekkid?

Good job though Scott

She just looks too strange being all nekkid. Plus seeing more of the ground is not the most reassuring site.

To be honest I was also wondering the same thing. The amount it costs to get a bike on the road, then a car is unreal. But now the worst is over I can start spending some money on much needed work that's well overdue.

Nice to see it back in one piece! Now DONT crash! (that comment sets of images of old fashioned pots and kettles, all burnt and black, can't figure out why)

Red nose cones must be cheaper, just checked my emails and the Suzuki dealer in Edinburgh quoted me £171.18 plus VAT
