Default Changing the undertray

This weekend I am going to attempt to change the tray part that's under the seat and holds the battery. My current one seems to be an aftermarket replacement and the bracket that is holding the battery has snapped on one side, which is why I have decided it needs to be done.

I'm just wondering whether anyone else here has done this job before? I've put a Givi box on and while doing so noticed how awkward it can be, but do you think it will be a major pain?

Are you on a curvy or pointy?

If it's a pointy I replaced mine fairly recently and it's a bit fiddly to get the rear seat unit etc off the subframe but it's pretty straightforward from there.

From memory

Remove front & rear seat
Undo rear fairing fixing under front seat
Remove grab rail
Remove other visible fixings under both seats
Remove screws holding rear fairing underneath near the rear light.(if there are any)

I think thats all, then carefully remove each half of rear fairing. Once you've done this, then all the fixing for the undertay should be visible?

Pics would help of which make you have
