Default Last nights colours

All taken on auto mode on a fujifilm finepix s1600 just using the zoom. We always get sunsets like this on sunny days, always look better with a little cloud though. Wish I had got Saturday nights as well actually, but happy with these for a £150 camera! Wish I could get the true colour of the sun though, it goes a really deep colour, but always glows in pictures!

If it's got the option on the camera then start messing around with the exposure levels, should look something like this >>> -2..-1..0..+1..+2

If it does have that on it then you could even look into doing some HDR stuff

Not my pictures, but it's an example of what you can do.

Cool, will give that a go tonight if it stays sunny then. There's loads you can do on it.

If you can set the white ballance on your camera, that can make a big difference to the colours that you see in the photo.

Daylight often gives you the closest to what your eye sees
Tungsten can make a scene much more blue-biased
Cloudy / florecent can boost the reds a little
