Default Just fitted a new MTC GP Pro Stubby to the SV.

My God it sounds awesome. 10x better than the massive Scorpion I had on before. For some reason, the Scorpion that came with the bike was really quiet and sounded pretty much like the stock exhaust on my mates SV. A few mates even thought mine was a stock can until they saw the Scorpion sticker...

The Stubby sounds sooo much better, can't believe I didn't change it sooner

Pics to follow. That is all

Very happy with it for £115. Seems very well made and was a perfect fit. Highly recommend MTC if you're after a value exhaust.

New.

Bear in mind though that this is a race exhaust so doesn't come with a baffle and is LOUD. Will probably have to put my Scorpion back on for MOT. MTC do road legal cans with baffles though.

Nice, I was looking at those yesterday actually, wondered if it would be too loud. I rode my mates zx6r yesterday and he has TwoBrothers cans on it and they are absolutely earsplitting. I dont think I want anything that loud, it would just get on my tits after a while.

EDIT: well not so much the volume, just the note, on my mates bike around 7-8k upwards it was really screaming. I had a look on youtube but couldnt find a clip with one on an SV. any comments on the noise or chance of a vid/sound clip?

If you are concerned about noise, don't buy one of these cans. Get a normal length exhaust with removeable baffle.

looks awesome... I highly recommend SP Engineering who also deal on eBay... i got a stubby for the Fazer and it is a ridiculous level of noise... ie. ive made babies cry, car alarms set off, people jump on start up on a regular basis, and a guy jumped back from it so hard he almost headbutted a wall... always funny to see.

it sounds so awesome to me in fact that i've already decided to hit them up for stubbys when i get my next bike... an SV1000
