Default SV650S 'bucking'.

hi everyone im new here, i just bought a 05 sv650s this season and its great except one thing . lateley when i ride it about a hour into my ride maybe sooner and sometimes not at all the bike will stall. Also it will buck while im riding it and if i try to shift while im rolling and i dont put in gear right away and let out the clutch it dies. it doesnt do it all the time . it drove fine for me to work all week(15min ride) then i take it for a ride today after 25 min its junk. i have no idea what this could be . i have cleaned the plugs filled with good fuel i have no clue . anyone that could help that would be amazing thanks

is this your first bike? when i got my sv there was many things it did that i suspected ment there was somethin wrong with it. jumping in and out of gears and not being smooth or changing gear properly. But just over time with me getting used to it they all went away. You could find theres something you might not be doing right that will fade over time.

Either that or ur tps is screwing arround. My mate has one that does what you say sometimes...

Yeh, I found I did things like that with the SV when I first got it.

I had this and it was the idle speed adjuster set too low.

Its a simple adjustment to make - there is a philips head screw on the left side below the tank, only needs a tiny tweak, remembering to blip the throttle between adjustments.

When the bike is warmed up, what RPM is it showing with no throttle?

Decent service wouldn't go amiss.
Oh and check your chain...bucking? you got a rusty one or something, kinky links?
Describe this bucking a little better.....

Where are you Blaireski?

I think there may be electrical diagrams on the site somewhere, but not sure where, have you searched?
