Default Getting a full zip fitted to a jacket?

Ok i have a jacket but it only has a shortyzip. My laether trousers have both a shorty and full zip.

I cant doo a track day with this jacket as you need a full length zip. So can i get one retrofitted to the jacket? is it a good/bad idea? I would like the jacket to go witht he trousers but its like 200 quid and i dont see myself having that sort of cash in the next 5 years!

any thourghts?

There's a woman down Todmorden runs a little business "recycled leather", pop down there, you need to ring up in advance as she's not there all the time but she can add/repair zips etc and likely to be quite cheap.
