Default In a mouse trap like twist of fate

Bit rum and coke'd so bare with me on this one.

Before the honeymoon, I re-organised that **** hole I call a shed. This included relocating some of my tools, circular saw included this found a new home on the top shelf along with the mitre saw.
So on return from Honeymoon we set about our massive wash load of maybe a dozen back to back wash loads. ( I should point out the dryer now resides in the shed).
Anyway to prevent loss or damage to lexi (my SV) during our honeymoon I left it with my dad locked up nice and safe. First day back from honeymoon I collect my bike and as already mentioned continue with the washing.

Anyway fast forward a few hours and I go to collect the drying from the dryer, on opening the door Im greated with the odd site of some black plastic in front of the dryer... odd I thought. Looking around on first view I see no source for this random plastic.

Empty the dryer before further inspecting the plastic before I think "hold up, I know that tint." then the sinking feeling as I notice the circuar saw on the bottom shelf, next to another piece of black plastic... the another sad sight as I see my recently fitted GSXR mirror hanging off the right hand side of the bike....

FEKCEICEKKCKING GUTTED!!!

Yup the bloody dryer had vibrated the shelf unit enough to knock the circular saw off onto my mirror ad then into my double buble tinted screen... nearly £100 of damage in one moment of sheer **** luck

Nothing compeared to Girth this weekend, and on that note GWS buddy!
but the teeth gritting frustration of such a moment has now been soothed by the rum an coke I mentioned previously.

Knackard screen removed (should be interesting on the commute tomorrow) and mirror replaced. I now hunt for a new screen

Hope your all well and I now head to bed to sleep this off

peace out.

Pleased to wake without a sore head, and I was right to be concerened about the commute. Anything above 60ish and the wind tunnel which used to be the screen funnels the airflow directly into my chest and head
was hoping to make the best of a bad situation and use the oportunity to purchase an iridium screen but think its best if I just buy the first one to finish on ebay.
