I don't have one, but I know Skip had one fitted to his Sv1000 and a remap.
I don't think there were any big power gains, but it smoothed the fuelling, making it much nicer to ride all round. Could be the same for yours

apologies for double posting this
Search the forum for suspension upgrades as they will give you more use of the power that is there for not a lot of money. a PC and tuning won't give you any gains unless the rest of the bike can take it

Tis true I fitted one to my SV1000 - got it 2nd hand from ePay for £150 and spent £100 having it mapped properly. Bike made 111hp at the back tyre without it but 114hp with - but it was how it smoothed everything out throughout the rev range that I did it for - which is exactly what it did so for me personally - money well spent

Bought 1 off eBay for £80, new. Spent £140 getting it mapped by a god, and as far as I'm concerned, it was money well spent. Fuelling was smoothed right out, taking away low rev/slow speed jumpiness. Acceleration was improved, as was top end. Best mod I did after the GSXR suspension all round.
If I didn't get the PCIII so cheap, I probably would've settled for a Yoshi tune though. I'm still running 74bhp from a 650 with only an Aky full system and the snorkel removed! |
