Easy peasy, but still failable.
My instructor basically said remember your life savers, watch your speed and turn your indicators off and there isn't much more they should be able to pick up on as long as you're sensible and react correctly to any hazards that may pop up. |

What Reeder said!! If i can pass with a clean sheet it can't be that hard
![]() Just try to relax, assume every car is about to do something stupid and be prepared for it, and enjoy yourself. It is definitely the easier of the two parts! xx |

Talk to yourself. Not as crazy as it sounds and good advice from my instructor when I did my DAS. As you go round the corner say 'Indicator' out loud, then 'Lifesaver', 'What speed am I doing?' etc. Oh and remember to breathe, do a few long out breaths and think the word 'Relax'. You'll be amazed at how tense you are until you make yourself breathe deeply. Your arms and shoulders stiffen up so give them a wiggle - you may look like you're doing the Birdie Song but they can't fail you for that!

Did mine a couple of weeks ago...
its nice and easy if you just think about what you're doing.. like littlepea said talk to yourself as you do it. Every time you change lanes "mirrors, indicator, check my blindspot then move. indicator off once sorted" Tester will ALWAYS give you plenty of warning so plenty of time for the mirrors indicator blindspot then position before every turn/ lanechange needed. and dont forget to STOP at the inevitable one stop sign you will come to and make sure the foot goes down to tick the box ![]() Best of luck! |

What reeder said.
And doing 'chicken wings' isn't stupid at all, it certainly works when I find myself getting tense. Last edited by MisterTommyH; 12-10-10 at 01:24 PM. Reason: I cant spell |

if you can count to 15 and you haven't done something then you have done wrong.

You MUST get the obbos right, particularly when crossing traffic, even when changing lane. If you don't = fail.
Hope all goes well for you mate. Looking forward to reading that you passed ![]() |

Its simple really, if you change direction, look to the place where your moving too, if you're moving left, look left etc.
Make a point of letting the examiner see you look in your mirrors by moving your head. |
