Default Tacho over-read?

hi just a quick question. I took my speedo apart to change the colour and now the tick over seams high. I put a new exhaust on at the same time so not sure if the exhaust has made the tick over higher or the needle is slightly off after refitting. By the way its an pointy model.

More likely the needle is off - a freer flowing can usually drops the tickover a dab.
