Default Tutoro Auto on '06 SV650S - where?

Hi,

Question for those with the Tutoro Auto chain oiler. Where do you mount the reservoir? Couple of ideas I have are ..
(1) Behind the pillion footpeg mounting. A bit crude maybe, but easy to get at.
(2) Behind the lower fairing panel. Loads of room, but a pain to get at to refill. On the other hand it would be neatly out of sight, as would most of the piping (especially if I put the delivery tube at the front sprocket instead of rear).

Any comments welcome, especially first hand from other users.

Thanks a million. That looks neat (although I don't have the fancy adjuster plates). Tutoro say not to mount on swinging arm, but I assume you've had no problem? It's right near the pivot so not too much up and down movement.

Like the use of clips instead of tie wraps. Tie wraps round the swinging arm always looked a bit grubby on my Honda.

I put mine behind the passenger foot pegs and think it looks very neat and easier to get at. Pictures here:

PS They do say not to put it on the swing arm as it can be shaken too much, but its less near the bearing point than at the end.

Have a look here for the plates. They are made by our very own Bibio.

Back to the drawing board I think. My bike has the tool box behind the shock and in front of the wheel. I'm not convinced I can squeeze the oiler in there. Shame as it was a nice idea.
