I had one of those on my bike for a while. Bought from fleabay, but looks identical to that one.

It worked fine and had a decent spread of light - the centre LED points straight down and the other two point out to the sides.

It bled a wee bit of white light out the back of the bike but that was down to positioning. I stuck it to the top of the plate with the wee 3M sticky pad provided and it didn't budge.

I changed it for something else because I didn't like the look of it stuck to the plate. If you could hide it away (under that pointy light for example) it would do fine.

BTW I sold mine, used, on fleabay for more than that one's costing you.

I have one sitting in the garage. I just didn't think it gave enough light and didn't spread it well. It was supposed to replace my old 5x LED one which was much better (but broke).

Ended up getting a metal cased one which has a good spread of light and isn't too bulky. Think it was a bike-it one

Fitted one to the top of my plate there not the greatest for spreading the light, the 2 sides lights are at to much of an angle, i'm going to be replacing mine whilst my bikes in bits over winter with something else

Im looking for a few options, not keen on those led in bolt ideas, read some reviews on other forums of them keep dieing.

Ive got a pointy standard number plate light on its way just to see what that will look like, and of course I could always use the rear light itself to light the number plate, albeit in red, and did think about cutting a small clear piece into the bottom part of the light for the plate illumination.

Hopefully going to get the snow shovel cut this weekend (might need it to clear the drive ) and have modified the zunkus undertray to suit the pointy light. Once thats done I can work out how im going to mount the plate, indicators and what type/size of plate light works best.

Thanks for the replies. Darrensv650s do you have a link for current light?
