Hi everyone!
Got a problem with my little SV... I have been riding in rain today and suddenly the bike started stalling. Than it went normally for a while and started choking again and than went normally for a bit and so on... I managed to ride it all the way home, but really unsure if it will be ok to ride it tomorrow again :-/ I hade a very similar thing, the cylinders got flooded and I had to toe it to the shop but they were more sealed this time by the mechanic (hi Stewart!). Is this a common issue with SV? It seems a bit ridiculous to me that I can't ride in heavy rain... |

tiz a common fault, water getting into the front plug and or electrical connectors. a fender extender sorts most of it out.

Bibio should know as he likes his river-crossings.
![]() ![]() I just use silicon grease. Take front plug cap out, smear the underneath of the oval cap with a good dod of grease. Again evertime you change plugs. No probs. Always get the chance to fast fjord some big puddles up here. |
