Been sent a brochure / mag today from Triumph with a feature on the new 800 tiger, im liking the new 800xc version.
Obviously a rival for the BMW, but what do you think?

Looks better with adventure tyres on, but this was only pic i could find

Bloody Nora, that is a BMW isn't it?

Looks interesting, the triple engines are sublime on the road, not sure if I'd take it over a single/twin on the dirt though

Looks like it has real suspension and not the mickey mouse stuff on the Multistrada that couldn't handle a drop kerb, proper sized wheels to take proper tyres too

Doesn't fill me with desire to sell the 990 just yet but if I were after something smaller and more road biased then who knows, but I'd have preferred the 1080 engine for a road tourer...

From what i have seen (testing vids and images) they seem like they are a very capable machine on or off-road.

Blurry ugly tho.

What engine is it - a big 675 or a little 955?

Should be less gutless than the rest like the kawa and BMW thing.

675 engine may be a bit vulnerable to actually take off the road though.
